Do you come to me, or do I travel to you?

Yes. We're a mobile-based service, meaning we travel to you: school, home, day program or another environment. We also offer telehealth for when that's the better fit.

Are you a registered NDIS provider?

Yes, MJ's Occupational Therapy is a registered NDIS provider. Call 0477 861 120 if you have any questions about funding or eligibility.

Do I need a referral?

No referral is needed to make a booking. Fill out our referral form and you'll be added to our waitlist automatically.

Who is occupational therapy for?

OT benefits people of all ages with physical, cognitive, emotional or developmental challenges, including disabilities, injuries or mental health conditions, helping them develop, recover or maintain daily living skills.

How often will I have sessions?

It depends on your goals and progress. Sessions might run weekly, fortnightly or monthly, and some people need short-term therapy while others benefit from ongoing support.

What happens in the first session?

The first session is usually an evaluation, assessing abilities, challenges and goals, and building a personalised plan together with you, your family and other key people involved.

What should I bring?

Any relevant medical or school reports, referral documents, and any equipment or tools you currently use to help with daily tasks.
